You can offer Free Local Delivery
If you are shipping anything, ever, use PIRATESHIP.COM it is a free website that will save you money, and save you from having to go to the post office!
You can pay for shipping, You can ask them to pay for shipping, or You can offer $5 shipping, and you both pay for the shipping.
Strategy:
The Club only requires a $35 purchase each month, but INCENTIVISE them to spend more!
Look at the Rewards for the month. The $1,000 rewards are not always the best way to go for your club (although often it is) if you can get 6 items at $550 level, and only 8 items at the $1,000 level, consider closing 2 $550 parties.
Every Random order that comes in the first month of your club, ask if they would like to join the club, and move their order over to the Club Party.
Questions:
What if I can't get 10 people to join?
You can run a club with 3 people. You would have those 3 people order each month for 3 months on the same party. In the end, that should give you at least 9 Buying Guests and they should hit $350 in sales. Obviously, more guests, the better. But you can run a club with 3! (Only have 1 or 2 that want to join... do you have some items you could give them as a prize in your stock?)
